Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was released some few months ago. Few manufacturers have been able to release devices that use the new chip from Qualcomm. As we wait to see more manufacturers get on board, speculations of the next generation chip the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are already on the rise.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Xiaomi 14 Series Could Arrive Earlier 
According to rumors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will arrive earlier than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 did. The next flagship chip from Qualcomm will be manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm node. The launch date of Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 14 series as well as the flagship chipset are now out, thanks to a new leak.
Recent reports indicate that Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, would launch earlier than normal. A second leak from a different source has now revealed a more precise release date for the SoC. The same source has also disclosed information on Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 14 series.
WhyLab has disclosed that Qualcomm plans to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in October. This confirms earlier predictions that the processor would launch a few weeks earlier than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 did. The current flagship chipset from Qualcomm was released in mid-November last year. Naturally, this has little to no real implications for the sector. But it probably also means that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones may start to appear sooner this year.

Xiaomi 14 Series Could be the First Phone to Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 
One of such phones could surely be the Xiaomi 14 series. The source claims that the upcoming Xiaomi flagship devices would go on sale earlier than their predecessors did. The death of Chinese elder leader Jiang Zemin forced the Xiaomi 13 series to delay until December 11. Instead of going on sale on December 1 as they originally planned. With that in mind, there is a possibility that the Xiaomi 14 series will debut in China sometime in November.
