Despite all the difficulties, the existence of Huawei in the smartphone market continues, new devices are slowly appearing. For example, Huawei previously held a presentation where it showed several of its new products, including the foldable Huawei Mate Xs 2. Now it is preparing to introduce a simpler smartphone – Huawei Nova 10. It announced that the company is ready to show it through a teaser.
Alas, the promo poster itself turned out to be uninformative, and its only task is to tell that the Huawei Nova 10 series is coming. And it also testifies that a promotional campaign took place to promote new products on the market. Apparently, new smartphones will be available before the end of June, and before the announcement, the company will have time to mark the release of several teasers revealing details about the smartphones of the Huawei Nova 10 series.
According to rumors, Huawei Nova 10 should receive a 4G version of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or Dimensity 8100. New items should offer updates in terms of cameras and Harmony software. Almost certainly, the focus will be on the selfie camera, because the devices of the Nova series have always been devices for a youth audience.
Huawei Nova 10 Promo campaign launched
Apart from the Huawei Nova 10, on Monday, several Chinese media outlets reported that Dr. Wang Chenglu, lead developer of Huawei‘s HarmonyOS operating system and head of software development, had left Huawei. He changed his Weibo page to remove the official Huawei certification. There are no reports on specific reasons.
Wang Chenglu graduated from the Harbin Institute of Technology with a Doctorate in Engineering. He joined Huawei in 1998 and has served as President of the Core Network Product Line, President of the Central Software Institute, and President of the Consumer Software Division. He then led the development of HarmonyOS.
His last public appearance was at the Huawei Developers Conference last October. Some users noted that Wang’s name has disappeared from Huawei’s WeLink cloud smart work platform.
Also, Wang Chenglu is reported to have joined Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. It is a high-tech company specializing in Internet of Things (IoT) operating systems. It was jointly established by Shenzhen Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Shenzhen People’s Government Commission for Supervision and Management of State Assets), Hubble Technology Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (wholly owned by Huawei) and Beijing.
