In April of this year, Amazon announced that Prime Day would be in July, but it kept the final date under wraps. Unlike big holiday sales like Black Friday and Memorial Day, Prime Day’s date changes every year. Amazon always holds its release dates back until a few weeks before the event. Bringing Prime Day back into July is a return to tradition for Amazon. It’s historically been held in July since its creation in 2015. In 2020 it was pushed back to October due to the pandemic, and in 2021 it was pulled back to June 21 and 22.
What to expect for Prime Day 2022
