The Oppo Reno 8, and Reno 8 Pro will launch in India in July 2022. Regrettably, Oppo is still mum on the exact launch date of the smartphones. However, tipster Abhishek Yadav has shed light on the handsets’ impending arrival in the country. Abhishek tweeted an image recently, which seems to be an invite for Reno 8 series launch in India. Further, the image confirms the Oppo Reno 8 series’ India launch date. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 will launch in India on July 21. The launch event will start at 12:00 PM IST.

To recap, a past leak suggests that the Reno 8 series will launch in India on July 18. Another reliable leaker Yogesh Brar claims that the Reno8 series will arrive in the country in mid-July. Further, he suggests that the Pro variant will come with a MarisiliconX imaging chip in India. Interestingly, Oppo has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations. Further, the lineup will comprise three smartphones in China. These include Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8. It will be interesting to see if all three models land in India as well.

The Oppo India website reveals some key specs of the Reno 8 Pro model. For instance, it confirms that the device will support 4K ultra night video. Also, it confirms the presence of the MariSilicon X chip. The handset’s Geekbench listing hints at Dimensity 8100 Max SoC. Moreover, it suggests that the device will come with the MariSilicon X chip. It will ship with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM as well. Further, the phone will offer a hearty 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. The Indian version of the Reno 8 Pro could sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. This screen will probably support a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.
